Welcome to Academic Affairs
Academic life at The College at Brockport is rich and varied. It comprises 42 undergraduate degree programs and 29 graduate programs. It brings together more than 8,500 students with 600 talented and dedicated full-time and part-time faculty. Our classrooms, laboratories, and other learning environments provide opportunities for students to learn and master fields of study spanning philosophy, history, and dance to medical technology, meteorology and accounting.
Amidst this diversity, there is a unifying purpose - promoting student success. This means that the College’s faculty, who are highly qualified teacher-scholars, are dedicated to challenging, encouraging, and assisting students in pursuit of their academic and professional goals. Brockport faculty have high expectations of their students, and stand ready to help students achieve these high standards. We are also extremely proud to have filled three Presidential Fellow positions in 2006, two positions in 2007, and two more positions in 2008. I hope that you will find our Web site useful and interesting as you learn more about the academic experience at The College at Brockport.
