Brad Lefort scores twice to lead Brockport over Elizabethtown
Golden Eagles improve to 2-1 with 3-2 victory over Elizabethtown
Junior Brad Lefort (Chittenango, NY/Chittenango) scored twice in a four-minute span early in the second half to lead The College at Brockport Men’s Soccer team to a 3-2 victory over Elizabethtown College in the first round of the Brothers Pizza Blue Jay Classic Soccer Tournament in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
Brockport (2-1) fell behind 1-0 when Elizabethtown (0-2-1) scored in the 31st minute but the Golden Eagles evened the score 36 seconds later when Aaron Acello (East Rochester, NY/East Rochester) took a through pass from Steve Abgarian (Merrick, NY/Bellmore-JFK) and chipped the ball over the goalie’s head for a 1-1 score.
