Erin McLaughlin helps Brockport improve to 2-0
Golden Eagles hand Fredonia an 8-1 loss
Senior Lindsay Willeford (Fairport, NY/Denison (TX)) and sophomore Kristen Hemingway (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) teamed to win their No. 1 doubles match by an 8-0 score and then each won their at No. 1 and No.2 singles in straight sets to lead The College at Brockport Tennis team to an 8-1 victory over SUNY Fredonia Thursday in Fredonia.
Brockport (2-0) won all three doubles matches for the second straight match and then won singles matches at No.1, No.2, No 3, No. 5 and No. 6 for the 8-1 win. Ally Kozlowski (Alden, NY/Alden) teamed with Erin McLaughlin (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville) at No. 2 doubles for a slim 9-7 victory, while Dana Schulte (Batavia, NY/Batavia) and Katie Keller (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) teamed to win at No. 3 doubles for the Golden Eagles with an 8-3 win.
