On behalf of the faculty and staff of the School of Professions, Welcome!
Ten of the departments at the College that prepare students for specific professional careers at both the undergraduate and graduate levels are in the School of Professions. All of our programs that have national accreditations are accredited, which is a true measure of our quality.
At the undergraduate level, our programs are designed to prepare graduates for their first professional positions. All of our programs enable students to develop their critical and creative thinking skills, an understanding of global interdependence and cultural diversity, the ability to work with others in the field, and a commitment to the ethics and standards of their profession.
At the graduate level, our masters programs provide outstanding advanced professional education opportunities in a number of fields. Our graduates are leaders in their professions throughout the greater Rochester region, New York State, and the nation.
Students enrolled in our programs value the opportunity for internships, clinical placements, and student teaching to be able to gain hands-on experience in their professional fields prior to graduation. Our faculty members involve students in active learning through a variety of teaching strategies. Without exception you will find our faculty and staff are committed to helping you be successful in meeting your academic and career goals.
