Counselor-in-Training
 
After a very successful 2007 CIT class (ten participants), the program continues in 2008 with only a few minor changes. The CIT program consists of three levels. Benefits of the CIT program include:
 

A high-quality educational program that will teach participants the skills necessary to work with children and to be an effective camp counselor.

 An opportunity to work as a team in a fun, safe environment with BKC campers, other CIT participants and The College at Brockport students and staff.
 An opportunity to improve important skills such as communication, leadership and decision making, as well as understanding the importance of responsibility.
 American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications.

Additional Program Information
 Click here to download and print a CIT application. A $50 deposit is required when submitting an application. The remaining registration fee is due no later than June 12.
 *Completion of the CIT program does not guarantee a junior counselor position.
 Required CIT training will be held on June 26 & 27.
 Program cost includes required certifications, apparel and a graduation banquet at the end of the summer for the participant.
 Space is extremely limited for this program.
