Brockport Extends its AACSB Accreditation
School of Business and Management again recognized for excellence
BROCKPORT, NY—The College at Brockport’s School of Business and Management has again been recognized for excellence by AACSB International—he Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business—as it extended the school’s business accreditation.
AACSB accreditation is the gold standard in business education and has been earned by less than five percent of the world’s business schools. Brockport’s School of Business and Management is one of only 810 institutions across 53 countries and territories to have earned AACSB accreditation.
“This successful outcome from the rigorous process involved in maintaining AACSB accreditation is undoubtedly one of the highlights of our school’s achievements this year,” said Joy Bhadury, dean of Brockport’s School of Business and Management. “It is due entirely to the hard work of our faculty, staff, students and Advisory Board members. As such, the big congratulations for this achievement goes out to all of us. For my part, I consider myself very fortunate to have been a part of this team that made this possible.”
Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools, and the largest business education network connecting students, educators, and businesses worldwide.
“AACSB congratulates The College at Brockport’s School of Business and Management on extending its accreditation,” said Stephanie Bryant, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. “The intense peer-review process confirms a school’s continued focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curricula development, and student learning. Brockport’s dedication to delivering high quality business education will create the next generation of great leaders.”
