What You’ll Learn

The great thing about an interdisciplinary arts degree is its breadth. Our program is unique in the SUNY system and in the nation. In this program you can earn a BS or BA degree with a specialty in one of six arts areas: Dance, Dance Studies, Theatre, Music, Literary or Visual Art.

You will have courses not only in your specialty area, but across all arts disciplines. This program is perfect for students who are interested in the arts or planning to teach children.

Creativity Pays Off

"I want you to know that it is the creativity I learned in the Arts for Children major that got me a wonderful job with The Center for Youth in Rochester which reaches thousands of young people in many local schools a year. I am so passionate and excited about using my own teaching and creative style."
