Our minor prepares you for work or graduate school in environmentally-related fields, from environmental health and safety to work with non-governmental organizations. If you are a science major, this minor can help broaden your skills, making you more attractive to future employers.

There is an ongoing demand for environmental scientists in industry, government, and nonprofit environmental organizations. Our graduates have gone on to work for the US Fish and Wildlife Service , US Army Corps of Engineers, US Geological Survey , National Weather Service, US National Park Service, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, prestigious graduate schools and major corporations.
