Physical and mental fitness are required to be an Army Officer and to successfully lead soldiers from the front.

The Freedom Eagles Cadet Battalion does various workouts (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) led by senior and junior level Cadets to ensure each Cadet is in top physical shape.

Army Physical Fitness Test

The Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) is a measuring tool by which the Army judges physical fitness for all Soldiers. The maximum score on the APFT is 300, with a maximum of 100 points in each event. Each Cadet performs 2 minutes of push-up, 2 minutes of sit-ups, and completes a 2-mile run. Following the physical portion of the APFT, Cadets go through Height and Weight. In order to pass the APFT a Cadet must pass each scored event (minimum 60 points in each event) as well as meet Height and Weight standards.
