What You’ll Learn
As a Spanish minor, you'll be immersed in the second most spoken language on Earth. Explore the language, customs, plays, books, movie and food of the Spanish-speaking world.
We'll take you on faculty led learning trips and help plan your study in any of the 20 countries where Spanish is an official language.

Learn Outside the Classroom
We take students on faculty-led trips every year. We expose you to just a fraction of the opportunities for travel, adventure and employment that await a Spanish major.
Also, we provide opportunities for working with the Spanish-speaking population in Rochester through our service learning program.

Career Outlook
Many Spanish students go on to work with the government, with overseas aid agencies, as teachers in America and abroad, in the tourism industry and in international business.
