What You’ll Learn
Investigate the connections among sex, gender, race, ethnicity, class, age, sexuality, and ability. Learn about the dimensions of social identity from a regional, national, and international perspective.
The minor fits well with many majors, because of its interdisciplinary nature. Cross-listed courses apply toward major and minor requirements.

Schedule a Visit"The interdisciplinary nature of the WMS program taught me to think at the boundaries: to question expectations, to recognize the overlooked, and to always consider alternatives. The implications of this lesson have had great personal and professional impact on me, laying the foundation for graduate study and beyond."Sarah Evans ‘09
