Arrival Testing

Prior to returning to campus for Spring 2022, please refer to the following information about mandatory arrival testing which will help ensure the health of all students, living both on campus and off campus.

COVID Symptoms

If you are feeling ill, including minor symptoms such as congestion, stuffy nose, sore throat, body aches, headache, DO NOT return to campus. Get tested for COVID immediately.

All students*— regardless of vaccination status — must complete the following testing requirements upon arrival to campus.

*Students who will not have a physical presence on campus are not required to pre-arrival/arrival test. 
**Students who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days (after November 1) are exempt from pre-arrival and arrival testing, and must upload proof of their positive test to MyHazen. 


Residential Students & Off-Campus Village of Brockport Residents

I. Pre-Arrival Testing

Get tested for COVID-19 as close as possible to your arrival to campus (within 24-48 hours) 

Upload proof of having tested negative for COVID to your MyHazen account or having testing positive for COVID in the past 90-days (after November 1).

  • At-home test results are acceptable. The image uploaded must contain:
    • Test Result
    • Your Name
    • Date
    • Time of Test
    • 800#
    • Photo ID
  • If your pre-arrival test is positive, STAY HOME, and upload proof of this test to your MyHazen account. You will be contacted by Hazen Health Center with further instructions.  

II. Arrival Testing

Upon arrival to campus or the Village of Brockport, report to the Union Ballroom for your arrival test.  

  • Tests will be rapid-antigen tests, so plan for 15-30 minutes. 
  • If you do not upload a pre-arrival test, you may be required to quarantine upon arrival.

*Residential students who plan to arrive to campus on Monday should report directly to their on-campus housing assignment and be sure to mask and social distance until they are able to report to arrival testing on Tuesday. Should you need to rearrange your travel plans due to these changes, please note that dining services are not slated to begin until 4pm on Tuesday. 

Commuter students

How to Submit Spring Pre-Arrival Test Results

Login to MyHazen with NetID & Password

  • Go to the “Upload” tab
  • From the drop down menu, select either “Spring 2022 Pre-Arrival NEGATIVE Test Result” for a negative test OR “Spring 2022 Pre-Arrival Positive Test Result" for a positive test 
  • Click “Select File”
  • Attach, then click “Upload
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page to view the document you submitted.
