Celebrating McNair Students’ Research Accomplishments

25th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference

The McNair program was pleased to have 21 scholars attend the University at Buffalo (UB) 25th annual Undergraduate Research Conference, held July 18 – 20, in Niagara Falls, NY. The conference provided an opportunity for students to engage with McNair scholars from across the country and attend student-led workshops. “Excellence in Scholarship,” the conference theme, was highlighted by esteemed keynote speakers Dexter Johnson, PhD, an alum of UB, and Allyson Hobbs, PhD, of Stanford University. The McNair scholars' participation in the conference reflects the pinnacle of earlier work and continued opportunities to display, share, and celebrate their research efforts. The diversity of their poster presentations illustrate our scholars' commitment to research with the guidance and support of their mentors. Way to go, McNair Scholars!
