Department of Women and Gender Studies to be part of the 2020 Quilt Project

The College at Brockport's Department of Women and Gender Studies faculty and students collaborated in creating a quilt square that will be on display as part of the Susan B. Anthony House 2020 Quilt Project.

Sponsored by the Rochester Susan B. Anthony Museum, the 2020 Quilt Project is a collaborative textile project that honors women’s history—particularly in relation to the woman’s suffrage movement and the people, places, events, and issues that are related to it. The 2020 Quilt celebrates the Centennial Anniversary of the passage of 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution that granted many women the right to vote in 1920.

The Quilt will be displayed in community centers, libraries, schools, or other public places throughout the year 2020. See the link below for additional information about the 2020 Quilt project.
