Applications Due Soon for Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) 2020
Faculty and Students: Time is running out submit a SURP proposal! SURP supports ongoing scholarly and creative activities that exemplify learning while doing, where undergraduate students are actively engaged in discovery with a faculty mentor.
Undergraduate Research is a collaboration—a shared experience. It is a means to discover, create, and acquire new knowledge and methods in the discipline.
Faculty and Students—It’s time to discuss summer research. What better way to spend the summer?
The Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) is an opportunity for students to fully engage in a hands-on educational experience of scholarship, research, and creative activity with a faculty mentor.
Through the generosity of the Brockport Foundation, the College sponsors student work with faculty on the mentor's research for up to eight weeks during the summer. (As part of the program, on-campus housing and a stipend for full- or part-time effort for up to eight weeks is available.)
Summer research is an experience that will help you to grow and develop your ability.
SURP 2020 Program dates: Monday, June 1 - Friday, July 24, 2020.
Applications are due February 20, 2020.
