Dr. Jackie Dipzinski and Dr. Christine Hopple Co-presented at the NYS APHERD Conference

Dr. Jackie Dipzinski, lecturer in Public Health, and Dr. Christine Hopple, associate professor in KSSPE, co-presented at the NYS APHERD Conference on November 21, 2019. Their presentation was titled, “Using Technology To Further Students' Competencies in Health and Physical Education.” The presentation focused on different technologies that teacher candidates are exposed to in undergraduate and graduate coursework. These experiences prepare them to work with, teach in and lead others in the technologically diverse teaching situations they find in K-12 schools. This interactive presentation included ePortiolios, social media implementation, and evaluation tools.
