UNYTE Translational Research Network Pipeline-to-Pilot Award
The University of Rochester Clinical and Translational Science Institute announces a UNYTE Pipeline-to-Pilot grant opportunity of up to $10,000.
These awards provide up to $10,000 over 10 months to stimulate research partnerships between UNYTE member institutions so they may compete for future research funding. Research teams must consist of one faculty member at the University of Rochester and at least one faculty member at another UNYTE member institution. Proposed projects should lead to application for further UR CTSI pilot funding or to independent external funding. Learn more about the UNYTE Translational Research Network at the link below.
Applicants submit two-page proposals, along with supporting documentation. A UNYTE Review Committee that may include both UR CTSI leadership and UNYTE members, as well as additional experts, will engage in a formal study section-style discussion and scoring meeting. Funding recommendations go to the UR CTSI Executive Team for final approval.
Application deadline: February 1, 2021. See links for more information and RFP.
If you are interested in applying, please work with Justine Briggs in the Scholar and Grants Development Office in collaboration with Laura Merkl in The Research Foundation who will administer funds, if awarded.
