Important Reminders for Student Employees
In December, The College at Brockport will once again implement its annual energy conservation initiative. The College will close for a two-week period beginning Sunday, December 16, 2018 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
Due to the closing, please take note of the following important reminders:
For the pay period 11/29/18 - 12/12/18, please remember to submit your time sheets for your supervisor’s approval by 4 pm on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Time sheets must be approved by supervisors by Friday 12/14/18 at NOON.
If you work for the pay period 12/13/18 - 12/26/18, please remember to submit your time sheets for your supervisor’s approval by 4 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018. Time sheets must be approved by supervisors by Friday 12/28/18 at NOON.
Time sheets may be submitted early if you will not be working over the break; but not before the work date is completed. Late submission will result in a delayed paycheck.
Time sheets for hours worked during the fall semester must be submitted before students leave for winter break.
Student Pay Checks:
Although the campus will be closed, the Office of Human Resources will be open on Thursday December 20, 2018 from 10 am to 2 pm for students who wish to pick up their personal paycheck. Checks will not be available prior to December 20.
All students will be required to provide a valid photo ID to pick up their payroll check.
Checks that are not picked up will be distributed to the departments after January 2, 2019 through inter-campus mail.
There is still time to sign up for Direct Deposit. Direct deposit forms must be submitted to the Payroll office no later than 4 pm on December 4, 2018 in order to ensure direct deposit changes are in place by the December 20 paycheck.
