How to ApplyThis a multi-step application, managed by the Center for Graduate Studies. All applicants must complete Part 1 and Part 2. International students must also complete Part 3.

Determine Your Applicant Type
Read the applicant types to determine which type best fits your academic and/or your professional goals. This section will help you determine which application to complete. Selecting the incorrect application may delay processing.
Complete Part 1 Utilizing Web Banner
The "Start Application" link will take you to the Admissions Login page. Please follow the prompts for Banner ID, First Time or Returning users. If you have started Part 1 and need to continue, select "Continue Application" to login.
Note: International applicants may apply for fall and spring admission only.
Submit Application Fee in Part 1*
*$25.00 for non-matriculated, $50 for graduate programs without New York State teacher education certification, $80 for New York State teacher certification graduate programs. (Please note: Application fees are non-refundable.)
Submit Official Transcripts
Domestic applicants: Please request an official transcript from each institution attended. Instruct institutions to send your transcripts directly to the ATTN: Center for Graduate Studies, Morgan Hall. If the institution utilizes e-script, send official transcript to firstname.lastname@example.org.
International applicants: Please refer to Part 3 of the graduate application.
Note: Graduates of The College at Brockport are not required to submit their Brockport transcript.
Submit Part 2- Program Specific Materials
Each graduate program has unique Part 2 requirements (i.e: writing samples, résumé, etc.) Select the program you applied to in Part 1 to review and submit required Part 2 materials.
Part 3-International Applicants ONLY
In addition to completing Part 1 and Part 2, internationals applicants are required to submit additional documents as part of the application process. Click on the following button for a complete list of those documents and related instructions.
Check Your Application Status
Please Note: Please allow 3-5 business days to process application materials after they have been submitted.
After you have submitted Part 1, you can check your application status to review what materials have been received by the Center for Graduate Studies. Complete applications received after the published deadline are welcome and will be reviewed on a space-available basis.
