Brockport Eagle Service Trips (BEST) is Brockport's alternative break program. During academic breaks (e.g. spring, fall, and winter), groups of students led by Brockport faculty and staff, serve with communities focusing on a specific social issue.

To provide affordable service immersion experiences focused on positively impacting and building partnerships with local, national, and international communities.

Learning Outcomes
- Identify the ways in which the service projects are informed by community identified assets and needs in conjunction with community partner(s)
- Demonstrate their ability to reflect, engage in dialogue, and participate in other opportunities to process their learning and experience
- Discover their ability and commitment to working collaboratively with others to address community issues
Upcoming Trips
Urban Farming
Baltimore, Maryland | March 14 – 21
Total Cost = $250 (covers housing, meals, and transportation to and from Baltimore)
Volunteers will be serving with Farm Alliance of Baltimore to expand their communities' self-determination and power through connection, resource sharing, and collective advocacy. This trip will take place during spring break.
Application is due Friday, January 31.
