Policy Statement
The intent of this policy is to provide COVID-19 guidelines and daily requirements for contractor and consultant personnel working on the Brockport campus, Rochester Educational Opportunity Center building, or Brockport Downtown (Rochester) location.
Purpose/Scope
SUNY Brockport is committed to the safety and security of all individuals on the Brockport campus and affiliated locations.
Applicability
This policy applies to all contractors and consultants, as well as all sub-contractors and sub-consultants working for the prime contractor or prime consultant, managed by the Facilities Planning and Construction Unit.

Policy Procedures
- All contractor and consultant personnel reporting to any SUNY Brockport affiliated location (as noted in the Policy Statement above) are required to adhere to the NYS Department of Health (NYS DOH) “Interim Guidance for Construction Activities during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency,” dated May 13, 2020, and any future updates.
- All contractor and consultant personnel on any SUNY Brockport affiliated property shall check their symptoms of COVID-19 daily, per the attached COVID-19 Contractors and Consultants Policy Sign-in Sheets, and sign-in daily, signifying they are without COVID-19 symptoms.
- All contractor and consultant personnel shall wear a clearly visible tag, button or other form of identification that quickly identifies that person as an employee of the contractor or consultant company. This identification shall be displayed at all times while the contractor or consultant employee is on any SUNY Brockport affiliated property.
Failure to adhere to this policy shall place the contractor or consultant personnel at risk of expulsion from the campus or affiliated location.
