All operators are to review and adhere to the following guidelines.

Non-compliance: Referral to Human Resources or Student Conduct, as appropriate.

Shuttle

Capacity:

  • Maintain six foot distance:
    • 20 passenger bus – 4 max capacity
    • 26 passenger bus – 6 max capacity
  • Bus passengers should avoid standing or sitting within six feet of the bus driver. Occupants are not permitted in the first row behind the driver.
  • Passengers are required to maintain a distance of six feet between each other on the bus, at the bus stop, on and off boarding, etc.
  • Driver to exit bus during on boarding and exiting of passengers.
  • Promote extra space between riders and driver through education, visual cues to include barriers, flyers on bus and at on boarding locations.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • All occupants are to wear a face covering during on-boarding, off-boarding, and on the bus.
  • Driver to wear a face covering, supplied by service provider.

Hygiene, Cleaning & Disinfection:

  • Driver to wipe down surfaces and touch points, to include door handles, seats, bars several times day.
  • College to clean/disinfect bus shelters regularly. Log each cleaning event.
  • Use fresh air settings on bus.
  • Rigorous cleaning/disinfecting of bus will be conducted weekly.

Communication:

  • Post passenger guidelines on each bus and shelter.
  • Communication campaign via social media, web site.

Van - 12 Passenger Van

Capacity:

  • 1 occupant = driver

Hygiene, Cleaning & Disinfection:

  • College to clean/disinfect van and keys before & after each use. Log each cleaning event.
  • Use fresh air settings on van.
  • Proper cleaning instructions will be provided.

Communication:

  • Post guidelines on web, Campus Service Center.
  • Communication campaign via social media, web site.

Boat - Personal Watercraft (Kayak, Canoe, Row Boat, Motor Boat)

Capacity:

  • Maintain six foot distance.
  • Recommended occupant counts for specific boats:
    • RV Madtom – 5 occupants
    • Electrofishing boat / Crestliner – 2 occupants
    • AlumaCraft – 2 occupants
    • Red boat – 3 occupants
    • Fisherman – 3 occupants
    • Smokercraft - 2 occupants
  • Maintain a distance of six feet between each person on the vessel, and during on-boarding and off-boarding.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • Provide hand sanitizer at dock. If utilizing public dock, Brockport representative to carry hand sanitizer on their person.
  • All occupants are required to wear a face covering.

Car, Truck

Capacity:

  • 1 occupant = driver

  • Proper cleaning instructions will be provided.

  • Post on website and Campus Service Center.

Athletic Bus

Capacity:

  • Maintain six foot distance.
